This year’s Bishop’s Burse Dinner held at Saint Edwards on October 28, 2022 was a huge success. Knights of Columbus Councils and Assemblies from around the diocese presented checks to the Bishop, to support charitable organizations of his choosing. Last year 36 people attended, this years that number has grown to almost 60. This is the second year in a row they St. Edward’s has hosted this event.
On last Saturday (10/8/21) the St. Edward Knights joined the Ladies of the Knots of our parish in support of Sleep in Heavenly Peace’s NY-Mechanicville chapter to build beds for kids who don’t have a bed of their own. You can view a short video on this effort at our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/kofc11064/ . Please share this page with friends and relatives and also press the ‘Like’ button there. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day Brothers. Our dinner last night, coordinated by Brother Dave, went quite well with over 225 meals served. A good time was had by all, Beth and her team did a great job decorating the social hall and we estimate ~ $700 in profits for our charities. Thanks to all. WGK John
